This is a great 15 min workout you can do at home with your little one. We use the +one but you can use any model of mountain buggy for all of these exercises.
As we all know, being a mum is a very challenging role and we don’t always have time to be going to the gym, let alone be child/baby free for more than 30min a day. So we have created a workout that you can do at home with your baby, or while out walking with friends. You can even break the workout up and just do parts of it when, and wherever you can.
Being fit and healthy as a mum is so important and it more often than not gets put to the side in favour of looking after our precious little gems. But, we CAN do BOTH, it just takes a bit of motivation, a bit of determination and a wee bit of imagination.
You can do the exercises without any equipment, but having a swiss ball and a resistance band at home are two great pieces of equipment that will get a lot of use, and help broaden the types of exercises you can do without having to go to a gym.
Squat x 20
Lunges x 10 each side
Knee strikes x 20 each side
Chest press x 12 (using resistance band) OR Push Ups x10
Leg Curls x 12 (using swiss ball)
Supermans x 8 each side
